We’re offering a free month of yoga this November at New Moon Yoga LLC, if you’d care to join us.

Complete Beginner Yoga series starts Tuesday, October 6!

This beginner yoga series assumes no prior experience or knowledge of yoga.

Over six weeks, you will experience release of physical and mental tension, learn yoga postures for increasing strength and flexibility, practice breathing techniques that invigorate and relax, experience deep guided relaxation, and learn to calm and focus the mind through meditation.

The series costs $99 and includes full studio membership during the length of the course. This way you can start to explore other classes to see whether you want to transition from the beginner series into a more gentle practice, continue honing skills in basics classes, or try a more demanding practice. The beginner series is a wonderful way to learn a lot about yoga through a systematic, progressive method while seeing if New Moon membership is for you.

Existing New Moon members may register for the series at no extra charge, but commitment to all 6 sessions is requested.

The series will run Tuesday nights, 10/6-11/10, 7:05-8:20.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for all session as we do lock the doors at start times. If arriving more than 15 minutes early, please wait patiently for the previous class to end. No meals 2-3 hours beforehand, and please wear no perfume.

This Complete Beginner Yoga Series will be led by Danyl Walton, whose background is in alignment-based yoga and dance. Danyl has a B.A. in Biology and an M.A. in Education.

Join Jivamukti Yoga teacher Allison Zimmerman at New Moon Yoga LLC in Knoxville, TN for a Jivamukti Yoga master class, 6:15-8:15pm on Friday, September 4th!

What is Jivamukti Yoga?

Jivamukti means “liberated being.” The Jivamukti Yoga practice is a vigorous hatha yoga practice with emphasis on traditional spiritual teachings. This master class will include chanting as well as breathing, physical postures and relaxation. Sweaty fun, the class is open to all levels, including beginners.

Allison Zimmerman is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and a graduate of the College of Charleston. Since receiving her teacher certification she has studied with Doug Swenson, Andrea Boyd, Jeffrey Cohen, Manorama, and many others. She has been teaching in the Charleston area for 4 years, and recently participated in the Satsang Yoga apprenticeship program. Allison’s interest and enthusiasm for the infinite philosophy of yoga is what fuels both her practice and teaching. Her smile alone will brighten your day!
